Wondering what you'll hear while you're on site at the RevvCycle Partner Summit 2017? We're happy to share the details here:

Eric Passon.jpgKEYNOTE | Revenue Cycle Management in Changing Times

ERIC PASSON, Founder & CEO, Ancore Health TIME: 9-10am CT

Acknowledging widespread uncertainty within healthcare, Eric offers both a unique point of view and thoughtful commentary around the role of revenue cycle leaders in the current and future environments.

And, there's more! For the latter half of his session, Eric will lead an interactive segment on 5 hot-topic questions revenue cycle leaders are asking today.

  • How do you see RC responsibilities evolving as payment model shifts?
  • Do you find incentive alignment with staff (front and back end) to be a strong motivator?
  • How do you demonstrate RC performance at all levels of the organization, front office staff to CEO? i.e. internally versus external BI tools.
  • How do you think about coding and documentation within your organization given shift toward value based payment models requiring detailed documentation related to care management and patient complexity?
  • How do you engage physicians in collecting cash?

ABOUT ERIC Eric is Chief Executive Officer at Ancore Health and has over 15 years of healthcare advisory experience in financial operations, mergers and acquisitions, technology innovation and traditional consulting services in both startup and publicly traded environments.

Prior to Ancore, Eric was Executive Vice President at The Advisory Board Company consulting and management division, serving as a thought partner for not for profit, for profit and academic medical centers. In this role, Eric and his team developed financially sustainable relationships between health systems and physicians.

Eric previously was Director of Southwind Health Partners, a startup turnaround practice management company acquired by The Advisory Board Company in 2009. Prior to Southwind, Eric served in multiple roles at TeamHealth including Vice President of Finance and Administration in the Anesthesia Services Division and Manger of Acquisition Analysis.

Three sessions will follow Eric's presentation, to round out our morning together.

A/R Management | The Revenue Cycle Evolution: Optimizing Performance Through People and Technologies
RACHEL TREVIZO, Vice President, Revenue Cycle Services, MediRevv TIME: 10:30am - 11am CT

So many billing offices are overwhelmed, struggling to keep up with changing government regulations and payer policies, tightening utilization management, reimbursement rate pressures, and shifting burdens from payer to patient. The new reality is “automate and innovate” or get left in the metaphorical dust. This session will highlight methods to capitalize on the critical resources necessary to keep pace with the evolution of healthcare and the revenue cycle: people and technologies.

CODING | The ABCs of HCC Coding
CYNTHIA SHERMAN, Director of Coding Services, MediRevv TIME: 11am - 11:30am CT
Today, Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) is "suddenly" on every coding leader's and commercial payer's radar, even though HCC has actually been around for nearly two decades. In this session you’ll gain insight in to the risk adjusted reimbursement model based on chronic and cumulative conditions called HCCs. We’ll highlight the different condition categories as well as review documentation and coding considerations
